Weird habits or superstitions etc.

Does anyone have any or know of anyone that has weird little traits?

The missus' daughter has to have the volume on the TV or radio at a number divisible by 5. I used to shake my head at it by find myself doing the same now.

I've gotta have all my shirts hanging the same way in my wardrobe and from lightest colour to darkest.

I can't bring myself to throw away empty jars or plastic containers that have lids that close properly.

I wont let anyone stack my dishwasher, if they do, I generally rearrange everything anyway after they've finished.

I cant have volume levels or anything like that on odd numbers.
my missus hates it, changed the volume on radio or tv to 13 to irritate me.

Mrs Boon tells me I've got O.C.D, I think that's what she said anyway, I don't really listen.

Jars on the top shelf in the fridge, not on any other shelf. Cold meat, containers etc on the next shelf, not on any other.

I always mow my front and back lawns in the same manner. Whipper snipper one of the front lawns ( it's divided by a path ) clockwise, then mow starting nearest house to away. The other patch anti-clockwise, then mow from nearest to fence back to house. It just helps with the way the clippings go.

If forks, knives or spoons are in the wrong compartment of the utensil tray it boils my piss in an instant.

I also have a saying for paper work on my desk, the paper in/out trays, keyboard etc - If it isn't a right angle, it's a wrong angle.

Oh dear, she might just be right.

I had clothes in my boot that were going to Goodwill so long I ended up getting them out of the bag to see if there was anything there I liked.

Apparently if I'm deep in thought I have the tip of my tongue poking out, I don't know I'm doing it, but it's something that gran also used to do.

And I hoard clothes..... especially my sporting ones, others I'm not so fussed about

I do the even numbers on the TV volume thing too and as I've gotten older found myself using the term 'drickly' a lot a mash up of directly & quickly that my grandma used when we were kids right before she died but my mother never said it so funny the last five years or so I've started saying it too.

I'm trying to think of something weird I do and about the only thing I can think of is that i cant have green salad on the same plate as meat, it has to be in a separate bowl on the side or I won't eat it.

This doesn't apply to coleslaw, potato, or any other type of salad though. Go figure.

I've got an uncle who can't eat a sandwich or burger normally and always takes the top of it and eats the contents bit by bit by hand and then eats the bun/bread afterwards.

No wonder pets always sit there staring at us humans with a quizzical look on their faces.
