Apparently his application is hanging by a thread.

I hope that his referees speak well of him, because he'll needle the help he can get.

Yes, the referees will have to spin a yarn or two to convince the board, otherwise they'll be in stitches.

That said, Cotton's well known to the Redlegs, so no need for him to ask if 'Janome'.

Not such a thimble task for a new coach, but he's suited to it. A good investment.

Someone mentioned him on the previous page.
I assume he is the ex west Adelaide player and Richmond assistant being interviewed?

Maybe the desire to coach his own team to show his capabilities to higher up....

Yeah maybe.
But being in the AFL system already seems more likely these days.
I guess Carr and Cornes and also Mattner have gone down the SANFL path also.

Hart could be good for the 'Legs, he aorta be given a fair hearing by the board.

Norwood have a fairly good record with North Adelaide players becoming coach at Norwood.

Tom Leahy and Bob Hammond were both dual premiership coaches at Norwood after decorated playing careers at North, Haydn Bunton got Norwood into a Grand Final after commencing his playing career at North. Trevor Hill was less successful as a coach at Norwood.
