We hope to find out a bit more later today what the diagnosis is. Didn't look good though and a big loss to our bowling stocks. I'm the one that ran him out so I think I still owe him quite a few beers!
His injury changed the game, tbh. We lost our rhythm and you collected some runs with his brother and really set up a challenging target that we didn't look like reaching. And...I was the bowler, still trying to claim it as my fifth wicket
His brother was hitting them everywhere! Hitting them a lot better than I was! Not sure he'll bat at 10 again after that display of hitting. Thanks to your lads for helping out when it all happened. We were all very appreciative of that. Not a situation I've been in before!

Career?
Pretty close, mate. I can understand you asking that question.

Matthew Elliot says hello....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That was discussed by some of the older heads on Saturday. His was a collision, though. This was just a turn.

Any excuse? Barely mentioned it. Everyone else gets credit for their performances in the club write-ups, HT And, I was quite modest during/after Saturday's game. But, yes, 4/30 are my best bowling figures in senior cricket. Yes, there should be some embarrassed batsmen out there.
What do you think I should put on the t-shirts, LM?

Im not one for praise usually but the club write ups are elite, ill give you that

thevoice wrote:So can someone tell me how Woodville South get to stay down in A2? Pembroke get to stay in A1. Surely this sets a precedent for all grades now. Sure we all know they're a young side and will get smacked in A1, but the system is designed to sort itself out and they would most likely be down in A2 the following year. At the end of the day, they made the GF and deserve to go up. Marion would be still seething they didn't make it.
Yep, total crap. Woodville Souths best 2 players are 45yrs old and didn't want to go up because apparently their young kids aren't ready for A1s. Sounds like the 2 older players might be trying to win a flag before they retire and if they succeed the club will be left in the same position anyway.
I honestly don't think the two old blokes are in it to win a flag in A2. IMO I think they really overachieved and wouldn't in their wildest dreams have thought they'd be in the GF. Liam would be close to calling it a day anyway. Disappointing on ATCA's behalf. I could understand a C1/C2 not wanting to go up, but A2 come on.
Numerous retirements was their excuse for not going up. Line up last Saturday was exactly the same as GF day.

Ok I'll bite. Who is it?
We're playing them tomorrow so I'll let everyone else know when I see the team sheet.
You muck raking heater?
No. I was hoping the team sheet would be at least listed today.....but I forgot that is not a requirement of the ATCA and this is Grange we are talking about.

If it's, TK he played for them last year. Suspense is killing me.
