That's just it though - less & less people are working the traditional 9-5 working day.
Earlier starts/later finishes at work is on the increase - a lot of people don't like DLS.

Earlier starts/later finishes at work is on the increase - a lot of people don't like DLS.

They do. Far West Coast kids (think Ceduna) catch the school bus in the dark in March. These kids have over an hour on the school bus each way every day.
A solution could be to run their own unofficial time by starting school later during these times.

They'd be in the dark in the depths of winter, when it's freezing too, yes?

So when it's 44° they get their bus ride in the morning in the dark, before it heats up, yes?
