I can't understand how people would see it that way. He retired after 2013 well before the horror 2014 season fell apart. He would have been 36 years old at the time. Even had a testimonial dinner.
If I remember correctly he applied for the coaching gig but was rejected so went elsewhere.
As I said earlier it was right for both to get a new coach this year. I don't know who made what decision but I reckon they both would have agreed. To suggest the bloke is bailing is a ridiculous statement.
