Let's hope so. Injured players in finals are easy pickings for the opposition.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

I'm hoping there might be some fellow Swans members in the SA Footy community who might be able to help me out? My dad is a lifelong Swans supporter but his health has deteriorated quite rapidly in the last 12 months. I'd love to take him to the Grand Final (should the Swans knock over the Cats on Friday night) but I'm only entitled to register for one ticket. If there's anyone out there who'd be happy to provide their membership barcode number I'd be eternally grateful. Feel free to PM me if you're able to help out. Cheers

Obviously agree :) but what excites me the most is that his main position is the midfield. Same as mills... currently learning their craft in different positions while they wait for their opportunity to get in the midfield. Exciting times ahead

And Hanners, parkers are still quite young... Kennedy a touch older and Jack with a couple years left, our mid field is going to be strong for several years to come

2016 BEST YOUNG PLAYER LEADERBOARD
569 – Isaac Heeney (Sydney)
337 – Jesse Hogan (Melbourne)
315 – Jake Lever (Adelaide)
285 – Caleb Daniel (Western Bulldogs)
253 – Darcy Moore (Collingwood)

Great to see jake lever up there.

Interesting to see mills didn't make top 5 but first Daniel and Moore did

So it was just a knock in the marking contest?

Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has spoken of the remarkable story of Sydney Swans defender Aliir Aliir at a United Nations conference in New York.

Addressing the Leaders Summit on Refugees at a UN General Assembly, Turnbull pointed to Aliir as a shining example of the success of the Australia's migrant policy.

"For Aliir, his family and 150,000 other men, women and children, Kakuma refugee camp was their home".

"The camp provided the bare necessities of food and shelter, but sports equipment was unimaginable. Aliir and his friends would use strips of old clothing as a football".

"He was seven when his family came to Australia. Tall, fast and agile, Aliir was a natural for Australian Rules football and once he took up the game hasn't looked back".

"Earlier this year I was delighted when Aliir debuted for the AFL team I support, the Sydney Swans".

"Now 22, Aliir is one of the first Sudanese immigrants to play AFL and has become a role model in our multicultural nation, especially for young people in Sydney".
