Was certainly counting Ryder as a key forward, had Lobbe continued to play well Ryder would have played forward. The 4th one I was thinking was Damon White but maybe he was drafted not traded?

All teams have a list of key position players that didn't come on but it's been a long time between players for the Power

Who do you think will be delisted Booney? Do you still owe any draft picks from previous trades?

Who was the last key forward that was developed at the Power, last 4 have all been traded in

Delisted - Mitchell, Butcher/Schulz ( not sure which one ), Colquhoun and one of O'Shea or Stewart.

Draft picks - Yes, owe GC a second rounder for Dixon. I still maintain this was a worthy acquisition.

Developing key forwards? 4 traded in? Schulz ( in 2009 ), Dixon, who else? Can't count Monfries and Ryder as "key forwards" as that's not what they are.

What has really set us back is Mitch Harvey and Mason Shaw, who, you ask?

Shaw, 197cm 92kg taken pick 30 in 2012 was a key forward in the making. About to turn 22 he would have been the ideal replacement for Schulz. He never came on. Never looked like getting a game.

Harvey, 197cm 93kg taken pick 45 in 2013 was a key forward in the making. About to turn 21 he would have been the ideal replacement for Schulz. He never came on. Never looked like getting a game.

That has really put us back, it's been the reason we've had to keep Butcher, recruit Dixon and perhaps keep Schulz on the list again next year.

By all reports Mason Shaw having a pretty good season on the WAFL. Has kicked over 40 goals I believe and a few clubs are looking at him

Impey and Pittard definitely. The likes of Clurey and Austin couldn't have done any more than they have

Sorry if this has been mentioned on her before, but for me the biggest disappointment for port I reckon isn't the young lads, their senior players have been woeful imo...

He's one right on the edge, I think and one of the blokes I point the finger at for not working hard enough in both directions. Several players who have been on the list for a while have been given opportunities this year to grab a spot and make it theirs.

Byrne-Jones the stand out, came in and hasn't missed a beat. Austin, who I really rate as a developing key defender has been solid without being spectacular.

Ah Chee, Clurey, Amon, Neade, Toumpas, Sam Gray and to a lesser extent the known Mitchell and Butcher. None of them have been able, other than DBJ, to come in and make it impossible to be dropped. Clurey probably held his spot with Carlile, Hombsch and Jonas injured and Trengove rucking, although he, Clurey, has been ok but under duress from the shit skills of those up the ground.

I think Amon, Sam Gray and Ah Chee would be available if anyone came along with a second or third rounder for us.

I haven't seen enough of him but what I've seen I like, his stats are up on 2015 and no reason why he can't continue to improve next year.

They needs guys like him to step up after trading away picks in recent years.

Don't think I'd have Impey in there mate, to be honest. He was dropped in round 4, missed two weeks and, while having a career best game against Collingwood, has averaged 11 touches in '16. Not good enough from someone like him.

I agree, seen nothing from Impey to suggest he's even close to a pass Mark. Trade bait.

I really like Jars and think there is something to work with there.

Statistically, across this season he has been average, but it's about getting Jars up to the level where he produces games like Collingwood on a weekly basis.

On a side note relating to Impey, I wouldn't be judging his form too harshly since the Collingwood game. I am of the understanding his father has been given a terminal diagnosis with cancer, and is expected to have a couple of months left. Understandable that footy wouldn't be occupying his headspace.

Let me know when Buddha heads back interstate. I'll go to the airport and point to the Departures board for him.

Schulz, Neade and TOUMPAS in.

Butcher has played his last game for the club and more than likely Schulz as well

Reckon Bonner would get smashed in a Showdown first up (and I'm a fan of his being a Westies boy)

I more meant if Toumpas plays and Bonner doesn't I'm out

Plus I like a beer at the footy but can't drink at showdowns as my tolerance level plummets to levels that turns me to Crush, kill,Destroy and repeat over and over, Funny how it only ever happens at showdowns.
