Fitzroy in both grades on the weekend rolled over from the get go they didnt really seem interested in trying to win

when the brawl started must say HaHa to the Fitroy player who tryed to land a punch on me while on the ground but missed and hurt if not broke his wrist

seen a few people from mawson lakes and trinity at the game on the weekend keeping tabs as well

Did you end up getting credit for the goal you claimed that landed 2m short from 30m out??

Houghton all over the Roys from the start and never really in it. Keetch tried his best to keep the game interesting by kicking short from kick ins directly to Fitzroy players.. Bray enjoyed the game being fixtured at home by snacking on Fitzroys defence with a handful as well

I thought we had a sniff at 3/4 time with a couple of late ones in the 3rd and was ready to run over them, but obviously didn't and didn't get the reaction we were hoping for from our boys where as Houghton were up and about again like they were early on.

goal umpire said it was over the line i asked him why he didnt give the signal straight away he said he did just slow reaction .....the last kick after the siren that hit the post annoyed me was great of the boot and well Q did everything possible to give fitzroy a sniff

Arch was good to see you again and not on the cricket field!
In the B grade, i just thought we were on before the game and we finally played like that.
Hopefully our club is still standing as the boys did party very hard,haven't heard the song sung with that much feeling before.

i cant believe we wasted a carton of bourbon and cola spraying it around the change rooms after the game not many got drank at all

The Bourbon was quality! While everyone sprayed it around during the club song i decided to open mine after and enjoyed the fine Bearded Lady

Cheers mate. Yep the bgrade I went there optimistic then the realization of only having 20 including me with the boots on and after the 1st 10 mins when our midfield didn't fire a shot and were fumbling everything even though we dominated the ruck it felt like it was going to be Houghtons Day. Cricket season it is.

I didn't get one either. Had to settle for a berliner. Which while being tasty needed to have chocolate custard to get the 2 thumbs up from me - That's just me being picky though
