Collingwood in a clash guernsey

Postby Hondo » Sat Aug 04, 2007 5:12 pm

I have been critical of Collingwood seemingly refusing to wear anything but their home guernsey .....

But today they have a clash guernsey! Looks good and, most importantly, avoids a clash. Well done. Also likely now to win a game that was in the balance, when a loss would have been crucial for top 4 prospects.
In between signatures .....

Better than their "normal" guernsey.

"We don't change our strip" says Eddie Everywhere. So how long has that black patch been on the back?

Collingwood and Essendon are arrogant buffoons.

Well that's basically the same guernsey they used to wear. Looks a hell of a lot better than the abomination they currently wear. Avoids a clash with almost everyone except North Melborne as well. Why don't they just stick to that??

I agree with you there. When I saw it, I didn't think it was a clash guernsey, just another old guernsey. But I think it's better than the predominantely black one they wear. Of course this 'clash' guernsey still had to have the stripes. ;)

Stupid part about it, is that was their guernsey 10 years ago before Port joined the AFL and they they went predominately black.
Idiots.

I don't think the Crows and Port home tops clash with the Power wearing white shorts. I hate away tops anyway. Should only ever have clash guernsey's.
