Unbelievable, shows there was more to it last year as predicted..... "he has to look after his family first" they said
Here is a prediction on 5AA, Rowey out Cornes in.
As you are speculating, so will I, I'm thinking he didn't expect to go beyond calling Port home games. He called the Sydney v Dogs game on 3AW Saturday night, he's on the Sunday Footy SA show....etc etc. At the time it was clear that the MFS intake was his last chance for a couple of years to get in, so he took it.
I'm not happy with him leaving mid year, I think it really hurt us last year, the build up around his 300th and losing him in our structures, but hey ho, life changes and shit happens.
Am I an idiot for genuinely thinking were a chance Thursday night???
I just have a feeling, We seem to always rise to the challenge of the Hawks (wish we could do that with other teams)
I'll be in the Audi club so I'll be leaving a winner I just hope my side does as well!
Hardest game of the round to tip for mine and I'm equal leader, The bloke I'm level with will 100% tip the Hawks he hates Port, Do I go the safe bet or the No guts No glory approach.......

The safe money will be on the Hawks, but I too will be there optimistic.
Nothing wrong with being optimistic but this time I think Hawks have the winners all over the park and it is going to be very tough to get the W. In saying that, you've had a good go at them the last few years so anything is possible. If you get first use in the midfield and keep Mitchell to some ineffective stats, could be interesting.

Interesting that he now admits that he should have played out the season last year....so he took a spot on and AFL list and also took a spot at the MFS and no longer in both of them 12 months later, selfish IMO.

You're a big chance no doubt. You never write off the Hawks but it's far from a stupid suggestion that you're a very good shot to win Thursday.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
Port are a chance but the Hawks are favourites - they probably are overdue for a win against us, given our fairly good record against them in recent times.

Yep i reckon that will definately happen, Bickley/Cornes, Then they will have the Port/Crows representation + even at this early stage of his media career, Cornes behaves far more professionally than Mr Rowe.

Sadly agree. Cover the both teams and the footy nerds and yobs demographic.
