Going for a ride with A2M...peaked at $1.70 today after I bought a bunch more at $1.52 this morning.

Going to sit tight and hope it steadies at $2 sometime in 2016.

Brent Crude is forecast to reach as high as $80 bbl by the end of the year, then all things going well will settle around the 60-70 mark next year.

Anyone had a dip at medical marijuana stocks?

I bought a few thousand MXC units a while back, hoping they can play a part here in Aus once the legislation is favourable.

@Q. - Are you still holding? currently $6+

Thinking of getting in to Telstra at sub $3.50 - projected total dividends of $0.22 (before franking credits) for 2018 make the yield attractive at 6+%

Still holding A2M at a 380% profit...wowee

Has been suggested to me to jump on Telstra. If STO hits $4.50, I'll sell and switch to Teltra or a Vanguard International ETF.

Finally sold STO. Not even the possibility over a takeover offer is enough to get me to hold beyond breaking even. Feelsgoodman.

It's going straight into a Vanguard International Shares Index Fund.

It's only a small parcel. Keen to hold and have a vested interest in where the industry goes over the next few years.

Bump

My son, 16 has decided to get into shares. He's bought two shares in the past 2 weeks, CHL and BTR which have both gone up since his purchase.

A colleague of mine decided when his kids were 7 and 9 to buy them a small share portfolio each birthday and Christmas as a partial present and then build on it as the years go on. I think this is a great idea and wished I'd done this with my kids, however I didn't realise when they were that age that the housing market would've gone nuts.
