Nah The Division is a stand alone game.

I got over it once I got to a point where the only thing to do was get better weapons.

Fighting the same three enemies gets old fast.

Some good ones are -

Fallout 4 (obviously). Good story. Heaps to do, so if you get bored you can do other things. Just exploring the world is fun on its own.

Planetside 2 (PS4 and PC) - Free to play online shooter. I think there can be 100s of people in the same battle at a time split between three factions. Air and land vehicles add to the action. Just download it from the PS Store. Its about 22Gb I think.

Battlefield 4 - Still holds up as the best online shooter on PS4. I think its pretty cheap, and there are still heaps of people playing.

Homefront and Doom just came out. Havent played them yet. Homefront looks more like my sort of game, just for the storyline aspect.

Battleborn looks shit, and the beta I played got boring quickly.

I'm going to buy and play Doom once I completely finish Uncharted 4. Doom has had some ok reviews, it seems pretty cool and looks like a game I'd enjoy, the weapons and kill animations look sick. Because of the ok reviews I expect it's price to drop a bit by the time I go to buy it.

I havent actually played it since before the first Incursion update, so I don't even know what they've added.

In others news, apparently NBA 2K16 is the free game for June, so I'll be updating.

The upcoming Ghost Recon game looks good. Hope they actually put a fully fledged storyline in the game. After Fallout, any story looks short and shithouse.

The Stanley Cups got me back into NHL 15. Should've got 16 when it was $30 last week. Back to $99.95 (crooks)

Second season as the Calgary Flames GM.

Wanted a 23 year old free agent who was holding out on the Montreal Canadiens, but didn't have any room on my roster.

Entered discussions with the Colorado Avalanche for their first round pick next draft.

I ended up trading away two guys on the wrong side of 30, therefore clearing two spots on the roster, about $3m in cap, and receiving an extra first rounder.

The free agent only wanted a one year contract. Obviously trying to cash in year to year on the market, but I was having none of that. I offered a 2 year deal, about $750,000 over his asking price, to sweeten the deal. This way, I can keep him around longer, and not have to try to resign him after one year.

If he dominates in my system, he'll be demanding much more money that the extra I've offered. I've had this problem in Madden. Sign a young QB to a 1 year contract for $900k, dominate the whole year and make playoffs, go to resign him and he want $50m over 4 years. Yeah ok mate  Let him go and sign another $900ker. I rarely have the same QB for more than a year.

He accepted, but his old team was given our next 2nd round pick as compensation.

Ended up with -

In

One good young player
One extra first round draft pick

Out

Two older players
One second round pick

Now scouting for some young talented defenders.

Currently in the second season. After going 9-0-0, we lost 2 in Overtime Shootouts and 1 Overtime Loss. So we're 9-1-2 after 12.

I'm not really interested in Overwatch.

I did play NBA2K16 last night.

The MyCareer is pretty good. Adding the high school and college teams makes it way better than 15.

I would have prefered a longer campaign in both though. Maybe 10 game seasons in both would've made it more realistic. I'd got through both within an hour and a half, and then its NBA time. So the whole new part of the game is over before you know it.

I will have a look at the downloadable teams and rosters, because people have made a lot more college teams. I'd rather play college ball than NBA. It will be highly unrealistic though with contracts, drafts etc. They need to bring the NCAA games back.

I picked Michigan Wolverines and lost the National Championship game to Wisconsin.

I lead the team in points and assists in every game, but still came out at 55 overall.

I went 13th or 14th (cant remember which) to the Phoenix Suns.

Only played the first game of the season, getting beat by Dallas by 1 point.

I had a look around in MyGM, and started the process of moving the Detroit Pistons to Seattle, just to check out the creation stuff.

I brought the Seattle Sonics back. Just gotta play a whole season to see if its approved.

I played a fair bit of MyTeam on NBA2k16 over the weekend.

Im on the second tier in Road to the Playoffs. Haven't played any other mode within MyTeam yet.

I'm really considering sinking $20-$30 into it to open up the customization options. I've never put any money into Fifa or Madden Ultimate teams, but you need to have an 80 card collection to open these features, and it'll take me months to get that from grinding out games.

Considering the games free, I might as well chuck some cash at it.

@johno6, do you play this mode? wanna 1 on 1 me, c**t?

You don't want to know how much money I have spent on the my team haha
I had some voucher which I used on VC to buy boxes and some of my own cash
Only modes I play are my team and my career.

We should team up in my park one time. That's good fun with couple mates.

I'll post a photo of my team line up when j get home.

I've played a bit of MyPlayer, as described above in detail. Kinda got over it once i got to the NBA.

I played some spud in MyTeam the other night that kept asking me to pass him the ball, so I flogged the shit out of him. Felt like a real tough guy.

Do you think if I bought 75,000VC I'd be able to get up to 80 cards? I have about 28 now I think.
