Another great weekend of footy.

One game decided by 7 points....Next closest 80 points..

A very sad state of affairs.

I hope they had 3 boundary umpires today at the Flaggies v Marion game!

An average winning margin of 112 points, great competition.

Game finished close to 5.15pm!

Interesting fact, 18 of the 21 for Flaggies today where juniors at the club.

A few good games scheduled for next week thankfully.

Not that interesting Dutchy. I think Brighton had 18 as well today and we have run with at least 15 or 16 in most games for many years. Looking forward to how both clubs homegrown talent matches up next week.

Just didn't want any forum readers to think Dutchy's comments meant Flaggies were more special with blooding juniors into senior ranks than other clubs in the SFL. Looking at A grade teams on Saturday - several other clubs are fielding teams with significant numbers of players who came through the junior ranks. SFL has it's problems but this is one major positive with many of our clubs.

If sporting pulse is correct - interesting game with Christies kicking 9 Goals in the 1st Quarter then only 2 for the rest of the Match to go down by 7 points, wouldn't mind some feedback on that match. Cove struggled Saturday without Harvey and Reaville up forward - Emus too slick around midfield and hopefully found some form for this weeks Reynella match.

The character shown to get back in the game and win was a credit to the lads .

Also the emotion shown after the game when Tom Caudle was presented with the inaugural "Sam Forrester shield" by the 4 daughters and wife of Sam who was a life member of both clubs .

We also played with 16 Shoe juniors.

History shows the majority of the powerhouses consist of high numbers of 'home-grown' talent.

Emus dynasty was based on it. Good to see a lot of clubs following suit.

Not sure where I said that, anyway play on...

Good round of footy coming up, with really only 1 potential blow out game.

Has anyone kicked more than 19 goals in a game in recent times?

How many points did he kick Dutchy?

Combined losing margin of 472 points last fortnight for Marion in A grade and 426 points in B grade.

After some better quarters of football against other teams this year, facing the big clubs of the league shows the difference in quality between Marion and others.

Surprised nothing has been said about the morphettville park - port noarlunga b grade game last weekend being called off after a player required an ambulance after an off the ball hit.

So i know there are some big games this week but Association is just around the corner. Can anyone answer these questions.

Has the squad been announced?

When does training start?

Who is on the coaching/selection panel?

Will the SFL be more competitive?
