I don't know if Bran ruined anything. Is it more like he set something in place?

Bloody Bran! If he listened to his Mum and didnt climb the tower, the Starks would still rule the North.

If he listened to the Raven, then all his mates at the tree would be fine.

No doubt someone will now tell Bran not to let the White Walkers through the wall, and so he'll do that too! ](*,)

The Iron Fleet is now a critical part of the story. Who will Yara & Theon align with?

Surely Jon Sno.

Just on bran, he went into the past and changed Hodor, what's to say he hasn't been seen or affected another major point from the past. Possibly the Mad King????

And whats happening with the Iron Bank? Will we see them again, or are they done now that Stannis isn't around (or will they hit up Tommen, or Davos??}. They were built up in the books to the point you thought they would play a significant part in the future.

Do you think George Martin had that planned all along or it was just luck.

Dogwatcher wrote:Would have been planned all along to be used at some point.
He would've just been unsure when.

I read something where he was asked a couple of years ago if Hodor was short for hold the door & he all but confirmed it.
Very clever.

Mm it's such a slippery slope with time travel... I really hope Bran only visits the critical points of his families lives.

Interesting to see what part they might play. Whilst Yara & Theon could side with Jon and Sansa, Aeron (and his brother if he shows up) is the type of nutter that could well side with Ramsey.

Best thing that could happen this season would be for Tormund to have his way with Brienne, then cut her head off afterward. Can't stand her so be happy to see her gone, but must confess I'd be glad to have a peak beneath the armor first (or after for that matter).

Season 3 or 4 when she was in the bath with Jamie Lannister.

Said to the missus last night - You know in GOT when there's a war, there's always a shock traiterous defection, or unexpected character bump off. I'm fearing for Arya now with that pyscho chick on her trail - That bitch could rock up appearing like any average Joe.

Sort of weird she backed out of the kill considering what she's been through. But it does show she isn't completely lost... I really like her character

Plus he was brought back from being a white walker so maybe there's a chance to bring back the hot willing that got turned last season 8)
