So far this year, we have had a water boy from balak suspended, boundary umpire from Two Wells helping out a player in a fight, runner from Virginia in a scrap (breaking up), and a parent from Angle Vale throwing punches at the opposition after his son was sent off for fighting on the weekend.
About time some decent penalties start coming down on non-players for getting involved. None of the above examples should even be touching a player. The league in the past has handed out some heavy fines to some clubs for discretions less (certainly in a physical sense) than this. Maybe some $1-2k club fines might start weeding some of this out. Just an idea.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Two Wells people. So are you saying this parent just stood there like every other spectator and let the players and umpires go about their normal business?

The spectator is reported, possibly the club too. Coming down hard on it, which was the message the APFL and BJ sent out a few weeks back following the earlier incidents with the Balak water boy and the Two Wells boundary umpire.

Is boxing on "normal business" for players and umps at Tigerland

Cant play for 2 weeks?
Exactly. Doesn't make sense. Only way to stop it is to heavily fine the club.

Defiantly wasn't throwing punches at anyone is all I'm saying on the matter

Ha. Not quite what I meant.

Not sure how to take this ? he did not even touch another player - was only standing between, as was the other runner.
Fair enough - that's a bit different to what was initially alleged. However, both runners should probably get the hell out of any scraps that are going on - surely.

Correct - stories get blown out of proportion.
On SAFooty? No way I'm not having that. Gospel on here!
Rumours around that a couple of Angle Vale's better players, still Under 17s, are returning to play for their former Barossa team, in Under 17s. Leaving behind getting paid too.
