Not in this league but the ribs at Virginia Football Club on match days are as good a feed that you 'll get at any football match in the country.

VFC marinated ribs over charcoal is the best footy grub in the state. Was about $18 last I was there, but worth it.

Kilburn's steak (cooked while you wait) sanga is the best I've had in this Div so far.

They do half a rack of ribs aswell now for $10, still totally worth it.

The ovals been ok. We've trained on it the last fortnight. However, the sports club curator has decided to dump square patches of turf on top of the pitches and has created an uneven surface in the middle and we may have to move next week's game.

I had a ripper cranky there last year, thought it was pretty good. Although they're not in the div anymore, PHOS, imo have one of the better bbqs going around.

Two Golden Grove players received Red cards on saturday. The first sending off was for a punch to the guts and i heard the other red was for telling the ump to get f*****.

Separate judging criteria I'm only rating BBQ's and this was a 4, something nice to look at whilst getting the BBQ may have increased the score but on this occasion no such luck

Flinders Park's Ladies day on the weekend would have had to have been one of the best Ladies Day's i've come across. Plenty of support and looked like a well run event.
