I really don't want to praise him too much, but i'd be lying if I said it was anything short of magnificent.

What's with the Mitchell Park coach suited up and standing on the boundary line all day ?
Wee bit weird.
Today's umpiring topped the list of the worse I have ever seen.
One of them needs to be banished for good.

He tore a calf muscle in the warm up. Was too late to replace him as most of the B's had gone. We played with 20 and in showed in the end. Really good game though and the Farmers had too much fire power in the last quarter after we led at 3 quarter time after our customary clubs dust up. Wouldn't be a game between us without it. :)

Mate it's terrible.. Bloke umpires C grade, he's done a few of our C grade games, he struggles to control games and has snaps.. But here's the kicker - he's actually deaf! That's no joke, he umpires cricket and we have had a lot of issues with him.. It's really not cool to have a bloke mid 40's with a hearing deficiency umpiring hostile A grade footy.

Won't say he directed influenced the result of the game but Pha rk me he went close to losing it for both sides..

Cheers to Morrell and MP for the games today though, they were as I expect games between or clubs to be - tough and uncompromising.. Will write my reviews Monday, but in the b grade scores don't reflect the closeness of the game - and when they get a few back, Mitchell Pk will seriously contest and be hard to beat. A grade was a fantastic arm wrestle, couldn't gone either way

Get a few back? That was the strongest B grade team we have fielded all year. Morell has gone home to cut his throat, you guys are dynamite. ;)

I know his situation, known it for 10 years or so.
Just stupid to have the guy umpiring A grade football.
Ends up being the catalyst for heated moments in the game.

He is hearing impaired, not deaf. His biggest problem is he doesnt pay enough frees, then things get out of control.
