Good to see Adelaide living up to its boys club reputation again in the coaches box.

Some of those Norwood boys in the squad have been picked on past deeds and certainly not current form.

While I am pleased to see Luke Carey (ex Echunga) named in the State side, it's interesting to note that Duck has been named on the ravens bench this week. Would have thought to be in the state side, you would be in the starting 18 at SANFL level....

Only player from the current team that is eligible. Bit of PR maybe as well to say all 10 teams are represented.

To be honest the article was hard to read after the first paragraph. Chairman of selectors Stephen Rowe....

I guessed he was the only one eligible.... anything involving Stephen Rowe will only ever end badly. Clown -

Another meaningless State game and an excuse for another bye.
Gives the Crows and Power (with one exception) another advantage with a week off.
As I remember injuries to 3 Norwood players last year probably torpedoed their 2015 season.
Whose turn this year to get hit with unexpected injuries?
The SANFL and the support team are living in the 70's.
Time to move on.

Great to see Irra's form recognised with selection in the squad. Surprised that Hitchcock was considered.

Carey is nothing but a token inclusion. (nothing personal against the bloke..)

Wundke a sizable omission.

Osteitis pubis is an overuse injury characterised by tissue damage and inflammation to the pelvis at the site where the two pubic bones join (pubic symphysis), resulting in groin pain.

The less Doggies players selected for this rubbish the better. I hope we get none selected in future. It's tripe.

I could be wrong but I think they select players over every game, not just one.

You are right Grenville,,the less players selected from your team the better.
Does anyone really give two hoots about a game against the VFL.
Just an excuse for another bye and
another rest for premiership favourites the crows and their mates the power.
Another wasted Saturday in the footy season.

How did Johnson get in the squad then, on a trial game form at Thebarton ;)

How many followers will turn up at Adelaide Oval for the game?
Perhaps open the gates and make it free and 1000 might turn up.
Another bye,
what a waste of a Saturday afternoon in the footy season.

If the SANFL made it free entry to ALL SANFL club members do you think they would come?

No. Will be lucky to get 1000 there IMO.

I'm sick of all the byes this year already. Every game even when you are playing seems to be on a Sunday. I just want to see my club play.
