Really enjoyed DB and his mates.
Again I can't understand some decisions or non decisions of the SANFL around promotion of the game.
They just don't understand supporters needs.
Supporters want to go to the footy EVERY week with supporting media coverage.
Paper and radio.
5 byes etc, etc, with little business acumen in every direction to me.
The cost to get this radio coverage up would be minimal, probably less than the printing cost of those cups.
Who cares about paper cups.
They aren't listening to the people AGAIN,and just don't get it.
Rome burns!

It's nothing to do with the costs - RPH chose not to continue broadcasting, as I mentioned...

That will be finalised this year, if it does in fact eventuate, I guess?

There was no issue with spening money on the radio coverage, RPH decided to pull out for a couple of other reasons including losing some sponsors on the eve of the season...

Something will be posted tomorrow about the 'new' coverage...

What were the other reasons?

Sounds like an SANFL comment and RPH is the "other party". Quick turnaround.

Why are so many people hating on the coffee cups. I think they're kinda cool.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

A bit tricky to commit to broadcasting a league when the organisation won't answer emails though.

Rumour is RPH wanted to expand their coverage but received no answer from the SANFL to at least three emails.

Maybe Big Phil could confirm? :D

I think you'll find the SANFL have responded to RPH's emails, but posted their reply with one of those new fangled electronic tickets.

Big Phil, can you confirm or deny that you are an employee of the SANFL?
