I know it only round 1,and I'm not be biased. But is there a more versatile ruck combination than Stanley and smith

Tippett Sinclair, Goldstien and nobody would give them a run. But yeah Geelongs rucks are very mobile

Smith will prove to be a very good addition, IMO, throw Blicavs into that mix as the third man / option and it is very mobile.
First time since Ottens that you've had a ruckman I reakon.

Cats fans would be waiting with baited breath to see if Smith stays on the park. If both are fit and healthy, then its a handy combination!

Vardy injured again and out for 6 weeks, so they have no back up. Let's face it, Hawks rucks were pretty ordinary. Smith had a great first half, but was cooked in second half. Will be interesting to see how they go this week against the big Mummy. I'm still not convinced on the value of having a ruck combination. Most teams are going with just the one ruckman which allows them to play an additional onballer.

To be fair to the Hawks they have had a stack of reasons to celebrate! If I had just won 3 flags in a row I'd be dropping pinga's like tic tacs[emoji1]

Pretty damning for the Bombers, they probably only had 4 on their list at that stage

Was up on the GC over the weekend and they had a bit on the news explaining that the Suns due to previous troubles had paid for extra tests from their own pockets. Think they had over double the amount of tests as others and had stuff all positive results come back.
Helps that KHunt, Bennell and Dixon have moved on

Some people have short memories. Blix and Stanley flogged Lobbe at the Oval last year and were instrumental in Geelong's victory that night.
