Had a bad cut the morning of the race, half the owners wanted it scratched, half wanted to run it. Stupid decision, flared it up and now in the paddock. I won't be putting a line through it just yet.
Fair enough - half those owners need their heads read.

You mean a $3000 provincial race isn't worth risking a horses health over?

Clearly the half of the ownership who wanted the horse to run lost money by backing it whereas the other half layed it on betfair

RE showed a bit more in its 3rd yesterday at Gawler, loomed up as if it might win at the 150m mark. Hopefully push onto another win soon.

Massive win, with luck could have won by 10 lengths, only got out the last 100 and mowed them down

Anyone else note that Melb races are being bumped to Sky 2 and they are clashing with high profile races at Dalby, Morphettville etc. Obviously Sky aren't happy with something regarding the VRC.

They were originally scheduled to clash with Randwick

Melb races are now trialling 30mins between races which I believe is a good move, however sky and NSW don't like it

RE runs at Strath in R7 on Wednesday coming off a 3rd at Gawler. Barrier 1 Gatt to ride and the weakest field she has come across this prep, should go close hopefully. Although hasn't really run well at Strath yet which is a worry.
