On a lighter note, SA win the Country Champs breaking a 31 year drought. Great work Paro and the lads

Any idea on where the one day final will be? Surely Kapunda gets the gig?

South Gawler got over the line yesterday 9 wickets down on the second last ball of the day. Good game and increases their chance of playing finals.

With only 3 games left what's everyone's predictions?
Angaston and Sandy Creek are home and hosed.
Kapunda, South and Freeling all within 5 points, I'm backing Kapunda to make it, even though form isn't great the lads have Lyndoch and Nuri and should more than account for both of them. South have the hardest draw with Ango, Kapunda and Freeling to finish, probably going to need 2 wins there to make it and it could all come down to the last minor round game when South and Freeling play each other. I've still got a sneaky feeling that Freeling will grab 4th.
As for the one day final it's pretty hard to pick, Sandy are the form side in the short form this season but I'm going to back Ango just with their experience of finals. They have had a pretty amazing run over the years

Yes the Ango lads are pretty excited to go into our 7th one day GF in a row but realize we are defiantly the under dogs as sandy have had our measure this year and are playing great cricket... In saying that we are very confident in what we are doing and are looking forward to taking them on.

As for the rest of the minor round it's going to be very interesting finish I think freeling have too much class to miss out

South to grab fourth spot.
No doubting Kapunda will be playing finals really easy finish to the year and you would expect all players making themselves available leading into finals.
Freeling to miss finals action this year for mine.

One day final – Anyone who is playing against Angaston - As mentioned previously though have certainly had a pretty amazing run over the past few years.
Sandy Creek in a close one.
Diener the key for Sandy Creek and Rathjen for Angaston.
Good luck to all involved.

Went past there tonight and I'd be surprised if there was much play tomorrow.
If Sunday is unable to start does it then not go to a hard wicket ground?

Congrats to Sandy Creek taking out the one day final by 2 wickets, completely outplayed Ango in all facets of the game.

Ango 8/186
SC 9/189 7 overs to spare.

saw something I have never seen before today, a bowler going for 39 off an over 5x6 1x4 and 5 wides

That's very rough, played against that lad in the 2s the other year and he was very good

Sandy must have been thinking about Sunday, got rolled for 40 odd on Saturday.

Pretty surprised at that result, had to leave at the end of Angaston's innings and thought they had enough on the board. That's a damn good chase in a final

Chase is made a fair bit easier if you can snag, I dont know, say about 39 off one over
