Massive go for the Packers now sees them clear favourites V Redskins.
Reckon I'm still leaning to Washington ATM.

Thinking about putting $50 on the Texans to win the Superbowl.

Pull in roughly $2.5k (most likely lose $50)

Most likely. You would be better served putting your hard earned towards a slab and watching Pittsburgh in the Superbowl.

Ha!

Thats the funniest thing I've read all day. If Kansas City beat the Texans, they will play in the Superbowl. Heard it here first.

Got the Ravens next week and divisional games (especially non-Cleveland afc north games) are always hard.

Can't say this has been a great NFL season with NFC east and AFC South quite weak at the moment.

Everything goes in cycles, there will always be weaker divs, NFC East and AFC South's turn currently.

Just the way it is. This year seems exacerbated because there happens to be numerous divisions with 2 teams that are good (inc Vikings, Jets and maybe Steelers) or better and few middle-of the road teams, and two of these are division winners (Texans, Redskins). Raiders, maybe Colts, maybe Rams. After this there are up to a dozen teams that have their moments but are ultimately fairly average, and then there's the usual 4-5 crap ones.

Reading NFL.com, last year and this year questioning whether a division winner automatically gets fourth spot and homefield or whether they all get ranked by wins and gave the example of Seattle (7-9) beating Saints (11-5) in Seattle a few years ago. I wouldn't like to see it solely by wins alone, but perhaps a division winner should need to at least have a winning record to secure that spot. Washington could host at 8-8, whilst either GB or Vikings who are both objectively a fair way ahead of Washington this year, will probably have to go to the other.

The one thing i haven't liked about American Sports is their playoff system. Imo if a wildcard team has a better record i believe they should be ranked higher than a divisional winner with lesser wins.

Don't have a huge issue with it even thought the Vikings have probably got it rough this year due to circumstance. Just happen to be playing one of the real inform teams at the moment. If we were in the AFC and had to play Jets or Steelers, then it would seem about right.
If it's straight out games, then you get into circular arguments about strengths of divisions, schedules, etc etc.

Texans putrid today but result was expected as they won a pathetic division and were lucky to make playoffs. Unfortunately I think we are in the same boat and the outcome will be similar

Not so sure about that Jim, reckon your Skins are up to their neck in it tomorrow morning.

It's hard to judge form when you win a crap division. We have been hammered by decent sides this year but we have improved a fair bit the last few weeks. The Pack are never easy to beat in playoffs though.
Your Steelers will win today, easily too I think

Hard to win when our first string QB would be battling not to be a third stringer.

Add the fact our backup QB doesnt know the playbook, injuries and Kansas City are in great form and we were never a chance.

I didnt think it would be that big of a blowout though.

We have one elite receiver and two good ones in Shorts and Washington. Our O line was depleted. No running game withojt Foster.

Lucky we even made it to the playoffs.

2nd fumbled ruled as down so now Steelers have the ball instead.

Then they just go for a huge run
