He's harmless enough, he's not rude, he's not nasty, he's just thick. Dead set ******* thick. He's moved sideways / upwards in the company he works for and as such now has more responsibility and now he's dealing with me on a regular, almost daily basis.

I don't know how the **** I am going to deal with it. "We" are running a project together, this might take 4 months. It might take a lifetime.....

Got this problem. I accept people have learning difficulties but hell, attitude can make a big difference to how someone's lack of intelligence can get to you.

One major problem is this chap has a piece of paper that says he knows what he's doing. Bzzzt. Wrong.

He over complicates things, interrupts when I'm trying to explain, constantly goes "Yep,yep" when I'm trying to help him and then when I finish what I'm saying he gives it "Ok, just to recap". I put him on hold about 40 minutes ago to scream, then picked back up to carry on the conversation.

We all know people that have been affected by drugs and alcohol, some first hand by their own use and others who have been affected because of a friend or a loved one. Either way it is never positive, you never hear the good news of someone who has turned their lives around positively by taking drugs...

Is having a good time a positive experience?

I don't know about that. My wife has saved massive amounts of money on make up. It's been a by product of me drinking more beer. I can't see so good, she doesn't need the Maybelline. It's been quite a positive experience for us both.

Is having a good time a positive experience?

That's a question only the individual can answer. But do you need drugs to have a good time?

If the answer is yes then maybe you have a problem...

Do you need religion to be happy in life? If the answer is yes, then I think you have a problem.

Maybe religion IS a drug. Wasn't it Karl Marx, or Dick Van Patten, who said that "religion is the opiate of the masses"?

Certainly not. I was very happy without God, the issue isn't happiness...

Hapiness is circumstancial. The joy and peace that God gives is unconditional. It is something that makes the feeling of being high on substances pale in comparison.

If you choose not to believe thats up to you, if you choose the temporary, artificial high of drugs then that's your choice, i choose life and life more abundantly through Jesus.

Each to their own though...

How can you say it pales in comparison if you have never taken drugs.

What if you enjoy the occasional high substances give, but you also live an abundant happy life without Jesus, does that work?

Britannia Roundabout. I travel through it at least twice a day for no issues, last 4 days I have nearly cleaned someone up as they are not paying attention. I know it's the end of a long year but FFS concentrate people!

This morning I was turning right and watched a woman in a Land Rover not even look until I slammed my brakes on a hit the horn. Still took her a bit to realise I was beeping at her as she was looking straight ahead.

When they built the 2nd roundabout, I put that in the rate thread as I thought it was sh!t loads better than it used to be. Can't fix the problem of stupid drivers though.

I second that motion. "When I was playing", "Wouldn't have done that when I was playing".
