He was a pretty good recruit - hampered by injury this year though and if you believe the stories about some off field and coaching issues at South he probably is not that sad to be leaving.

Completely agree, has been a fantastic player during his time in SA ... Imagine he'd chosen a CD or Eagles to play for in that time, scary!

A definite loss to our competition and personally I'll miss watching him play.

NFC, I’m sure you wouldn’t whinge if he was running around in a redlegs jumper. Runner up in last years Magarey.

I did hear a few weeks back that he was looking to head home at the end of the season for work, but wasn’t expecting an announcement this early. Perhaps the dramas of the last few weeks have had some influence in this. Will this be the start of a string of early departures?

Will be missed immensely I’m afraid.

He wasn't expecting to finish just yet either shame he wasn't allowed to finish the year off.Strange South defeated Port and everything was back on track a loss to the at least second best side Sturt and the team was thrown upside down against Norwood with the resultant humiliation.Akers column in the Herald sun today sums up pretty well what occurs when any coach loses the players confidence.

Still love that goal he kicked in Port Melbourne. :D

Yes heard runours of Kennas' departure a couple of weeks ago.Apparently he's been offered a job too good to refuse. Hopefully there are not too many other reasons. Despite 1 or 2 ill informed comments on this site I would say that he has been our most consistent performer during his time at the club. He's had some injury issues of late though and that has coincided with the teams' deplorable season to date.
good luck and all the best, PACE.

NFC...people in glass houses... Kenna Has been a star player for South, a player they can ill afford to lose, he certainly cost Glenelg a win earlier this year with a brilliant 10 minutes of class roving, he was also vital in the SANFL's win over the vics last year...dud...pffft.

NFC - Have you had your head up your backside while he has been at South?

Pace (kenna) would be probably the only stand out recruit we got!!

Far Out. Left south and gone back to victoria, can players just do that. Dont they have to honor their contract?
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

Pretty bloody good player and far from a dud, he won us the state game which made me rate him even higher! One of the few real stars that was recruited by South, they don't have much chance of making the finals this year but at least he played in a rare finals series with the Panthers.
