A mates daughter has just started riding track work as part of her traineeship, she, like all horse people, is stark raving horse mad, she can't believe how excited some of them get prior to doing their track work and how some get edgy, jealous almost, of those who have left the stable before they have.

The girl I have been seeing for the last few months has a 10 achre block in Cudlee Creek with 4 thoroughbreds (non racing)

I have just started and really enjoy horse riding.

Those bad boys don't do anything they don't want to and if you try and make them you are only putting yourself at serious risk

Come on mate. Irrational fear there. It's not warm enough for snakes yet, they won't be out looking for you, I mean something to eat for a while yet.

Yeah apparently one of the horses gets horribly spooked while another has no issue with them

Apparentky usually the snakes are smart enough and can hear the horses coming from miles away

Not always....almost lost a family member in a trackwork fall. Took nearly 3 years for us to find out the horse was spooked by a snake when the amnesia went away.

Its just how the media is looking at hammering the story. I think its a great story but the female part on ever line is probably over doing it. Use her name, most people will work it out from there.
