What is the ******* point of getting pick 68 in this shitty draft?

Collingwood has traded Nathan Freeman and Pick 68 to St.Kilda for the Saints 2nd Round Pick in the 2016 National Draft and Pick 63.

You'd think so. If you can't make Melbournes 22 as a no.4 draft pick, something is not quite right.

Oh hell no. Like the trade of Kerridge for Menzel but giving up 28 as well is stupid

Yeah there is a buyer beware tag with him but they didn't give up a huge amount for him.

I disagree, Menzel has more upside than Kerridge IMO.
Menzel can be in our starting 22 while Kerridge (Who i like) will most likley be a depth player.
Menzel offers a bit of x-factor and is only 21. Do the deal if we can!
Still leaves us with picks 9 & 13!

I agree with what you are saying just would like a pick coming back, maybe their 3rd rounder or something. Just think it is overs for Menzel.

I don’t think Kerridge for Menzal is fair swap although Kerridge and 28 seems overs but their next pick is 71 so they can hardly offer up that.

Sometimes you've got to pay overs - Menzel would be a good get.

I guess Port looked at picking a second rounder in a shallow draft that is an unknown or getting Toumpas.
I'm not thrilled at this trade, but, given the option of a dubious second rounder or a player who immediately adds depth and could develop into a player is probably a win for the club. Especially given he'd come pretty cheap and is only 21.
If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

Aish has chosen Collingwood though.
Looking like a couple of second rounders will get it done.
