I hate to be the one to do it, but someone has to.

Jim, part of Hirdy's "exit clause" was that he got two first rounders as part of his package if he didn't get to see his contract out, be it a sacking or resignation. As it turns out, he's taken 15 and 18 as piss boys on the croquet green.

No a 3 way deal with North.
Essendon get pick 15 & 18.
Would give us 5 picks inside the top 25
Clarko apparantly was on the phone to Jake this arvo, $ will be a fair bit less than the Saints offer but a successful side

I heard that updated deal
Hawthorn give up their first round draft pick and Anderson and receive Carlisle from Essendon.
Anderson goes to North Melbourne with Essendon's pick 41.
Bombers receive North's first round pick (15) as well as Hawthorn's (18).

Piss off Hawthorn you won enough flags

Now Carlisle has apparently told Saints they need to give Essendon pick 5 otherwise he is agreeing to the Hawks trade. Wow.

A player shouldnt be able to say what they should trade him for.

So he's more worried about what Essendon gets than he is about where he ends up?

I hope we hold firm and not give up pick 5.

Soon as the Hawks come calling he backflips on us.

No first rounder left next year after getting Treloar, good luck with O'Meara.
He will be 2 first picks minimum

Which we currently hold! Ours and Geelongs. I really hope we don't go and on trade that Henderson pick on (don't even know if that's possible). I would like to keep it so that if O'Meara does come out of contract we're in a strong position to grab him.

Nobody wants to go to Carlton though :D

And you don't have enough of a war chest (thanks Dale Thomas) to make a massive offer.

Pretty sure at seasons end next year Daisy's contract is up

No, you are stuck with him until end of 2017
4 year deal? Hmm I thought it was 3.
Unfortunately for you its defnitely 4

I would love it for other clubs to stop extending Hawthorn's premiership window.

In fairness though, Boon- what the bloody hell are North thinking, offering up #15 for Jed Anderson.

Collingwood make an offer of around $400K a year for Howe. I can deal with that.

The trade will probably involve Kennedy and a pick exchange.

This one came from BF- pretty apt:

Alistair Clarkson: I could say that this Jed Anderson wins premierships.
Brad Scott: How does it work?
Clarkson: It doesn't work! It's just a stupid Jed Anderson! But you don't see any empty trophy cabinets around here, do you?

...

Scott: Clarko, I'd like to buy your Jed Anderson.

Howe, given some supply and playing as the 3rd/4th target could be very useful IMO.

With Moore, Cloke, White, Howe there's an attack to work with.
