South Adelaide have given us information on the selecion of their coach of the year award

Each SANFL Football club is required to nominate Coaches of the year for the following awards-
* Metro Senior Coach of the year
* Metro Junior Coach of the year
* Country Senior Coach of the year
* Country Junior Coach of the year

The selection panel award nominations on the following criteria-
* Coaches at a club that is zoned to the South Adelaide Football Club
* Is the coach currently accredited
* Do they conduct themselves within the guidelines of the AFL Coaches Code of conduct policy
* Achieves good results relevant to the standard of the group being coached
* Looks for ways to improve and enhance their coaching knowledge
* Any other aspect that promotes an improvement in the people involved at their football club

South Adelaide asked all clubs for nominations. Perhaps rather than criticising their choice of Ben Coleman for the senior coach award time would be better spent asking if your club nominated any coaches for the awards.

With all due respect , why would you need to nominate!
SA should be in the know of who is coaching or are they that far away from pathway clubs?
The award under the current criteria is a joke for the SFL and the award should be awarded to the best coach within the SFL.
I am sure if Paul Whaley was awarded most would agree.
Or just award the Premiership coach.

Well done to Reynella A Grade premiers, they had a good day out winning B's and an undefeated u16's premiership.

18s to a Brighton and 14s to Flaggy.

HV had a dirty day, thought they were pretty good in the 14s but didn;t give a yelp in the 16's

Well done to all the winners yesterday, Not that Reynella would care today but why was Reynella the away team. White shorts and named below Brighton on the score board. I thought the higher ranked team at the end of the minor round was home or is it a toss of a coin?

I think it's because Brighton came via the 1st Prelim Final & Reynella via the 2nd
The finals system assumes that the minor premier would have won their QF & PF

Why?
Because it may give the venue some atmosphere?
