Fahrenheit is Degrees Fahrenheit ,
so is Celsius
so is Kelvin

There are also a couple of others, Rankine and Reaumur

24 Degrees Reaumur = 30 Degrees Celsius = 86 Degrees Fahrenheit = 303.15 Degrees Kelvin = 545.67 Rankine

its not that fact thats its relevant or not.

The report from Sky news Australia two days ago was it reached 56 degrees ( as in 56 in australia as an example ) in a state in the USA.

If no one believes that then so be it.
All i posted was what was said on that channel

End of story

Basically a stupid reporter or editor - "degrees" is meaningless unless on which scale is also stated.
