My bad, didn't realise CLG had an Under 18s team. Carry on

There might have been a couple of others who played on the weekend who haven't played any or many B grade?

He's an under 16.5. Gets confusing as our juniors are msjfl. Don't worry calls were made to see if those games made him eligible

You can qualify by playing games in a different League?

Jesus, Blackwood could have tried that in Div 8 last year and ran the table.

(I don't really have any issue with it when there's a clear junior/senior affiliation, if they're good enough as a 16 year old go for it)

Don't think it matters if both grades are still playing?

All the ducks lining up for CLG with the GF 5min from home and given access to train there, so much for neutral benefits. Surely another ground 1/2 way would have been available.

I'm sure Para Hills would've been allowed to train there, had they asked.

Training there means SFA anyway. We managed to train on Campbelltown in 2008 before our GF against WOS and we lost.

So the last week fot Div5 this year who wins and why?

In the B's from what I saw last week CLG are very hard to go past. They had some serious talent on the park and also had a couple of big boys. Although they did lose the 2nd semi to Pulteney and by all reports Pulteney only played 1 decent quarter of footy for the day. I think we are in for another close game not sure who wins but the margin to be under 3 goals.

It would be a massive effort for Para Hills to turn around the margin from 3 weeks ago against CLG. In saying that, that's exactly what CLG did to Para Hills. These 2 teams clearly had the most talent in this grade and there are quality match ups all over the field. From what I have seen this year I expect CLG to take this one out but in a much closer game than last time. CLG under 10 pts.

Your thoughts everyone.......

Hard one to pick in both games.

Would be very easy to say CLG for the double but we know their previous finals record and Para Hills are playing some good footy.

para hills will need to bring the intensity they have shown the last two weeks from the first bounce, get the ball in quickly to hanno, and have cree lynch, mahar etc ready to pounce on anything that's spoiled if they can spoil

CLG in both for me.
The 2nd semi in the B's was a half each. Pulteney played more than 1 decent quarter of footy.
In the A grade there are less chances of onfield implosions for CLG. When the pressure lifted in the first half of the last quarter last week Para Hills got a little rattled. However, they settled. I just sense they don't play like a team as much as CLG and on GF day everyone needs to be up and ready to sacrifice their own game for the good of the team.
Enjoy the day all involved. I'll be mowing the lawn.

Para Hills to Kenilworth is tops 45 minutes and it holds the most cars in the SAAFL. Great venue for a GF.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
