I have reactivated the old NFL league for SAFooty, previous owners should have received an email on this. The League No is 1587946 and called SAFooty and password safooty.

The Keepers have been dropped and we start again with a new draft currently set for Sunday 6 September at 10.00am CST.

Please confirm your intention to play this season in the Activity pane on the League page.

In my head I thought the draft was yesterday. Got up early, cooked up some pop tarts, had a strong coffee, got comfy on the lounge with the laptop, logged onto SAFooty to see if the usual Draft Day convo had started and saw it is next week.

Due to Fathers Day, I won't be available to attend the draft on Sunday morning.

I will do all the pre-draft rankings to try and get what I want.

If I lose, just be aware that this will be my season long excuse.

How do you think you team will go this year?

Many on NFL.com think the Vikings are going make the play-offs, but I think we'll just miss out.
I've enjoyed seeing how they've tried to build this team over the last couple years, and they probably deserves a wildcard spot, certainly compared to three years ago when it felt we were last team standing.
However, one writer pointed out a few weeks ago there is probably only one spot available, Arizona or Seattle if they don't win the division will win enough to get a wildcard. Philly, Dallas, Saints, Carolina, even St Louis are all going to put pressure on that last wildcard.
As luck would have it, we've probably also pulled the toughest combination of divisions to play, NFC West and AFC West (although NFC West play both NFC and AFC North).

For the SuperBowl, Seahawks over Colts.

Just got to look at my Fantasy team. Not too bad.

QB's are Tannehill and Eli. Probably stick with Tannehill. But will watch Eli closely, since Beckham Jnr is gonna be his main target, he doesnt have to be so accurate.

My receivers aren't bad.

WR - Dez Bryant
WR - Mike Evans
WR - Pierre Garcon
WR - Kendall Wright

All 4 are their respective teams best receiver, hence they will be targeted more.

Running backs aren't as good, but still not bad.

HB - Ryan Matthews (will play second fiddle to Murray, but Chips crazy enough to switch them around a fair bit)
HB - Arian Foster (will be good once he's back from injury)
HB - Matt Forte.

I got the Bills and Colts D's. Probably start the Bills from the preseason games i've seen, they have a beast D line.

The other 3 D players I am not too familiar with, so may have to cut them and have a look at some Free Agents during the week.

Just cut Rob Ninkovich and added Mario Williams. Surprised he was in the FA pool still.

Cut J.T. Thomas and added my man Cushing at LB

Cut Rodney McLeod and added Joe Haden at DB

Cut RB Melvin Gordon to add QB Tyrod Taylor. Gordon will be used in tandem at SD, so probably wont score much, and Taylor has just been named starting QB for Buffalo.

Well done to Jarrad Hayne on making the roster but the real season begins now not running against 3rd string defences. See how he goes when he faces Seattle's Legion of Boom twice a season.

Not happy with 7 mate by the looks of their programming

Looks like they are going to show the 49ers each week. They will be terrible this year.

Might have to take out NFL game pass to watch Raider games this year. I know we have sucked for a while but other teams are worse and they get air time.

I was going to wait a few weeks before I had that whinge FE, and also not sure how it exactly works with what may be offered by the American stations.

Seems to be only a handful of the big name teams regularly on 7 mate. Can appreciate them showing the best teams, so over the last few years can accept the Vikings not being shown, but not behind the 49ers or Giants this year. Miami are probably another example. One that pisses me off is showing GB at San Franscisco whilst at the same time Vikings are at Denver (another team that, understandably, they haven't been shy in showing over the last few years).

Just read though, that 7 Mate are going to show every San Fransisco game. For what? For what may be half-a-dozen plays a game?
Though I wonder if they'll show the first week Monday night game, Vikings play at San Franscisco, given they don't normally show Monday night games
