Sometimes yes .. sometimes No

Craigy's first game as coach was a loss ... ditto Mike Riley's

Didn't the Crows flog Melbourne in Craigy's first game in charge? Or was that a few games in?

Melb beat Carlton in Riley's first game as coach

History say's this is a danger game, if Freo have any fight or character they shouldn't leave anything out on the park

However, if the crows are a worthy of playing finals they should put freo away

Freo have lost Aaron Sandilands (injured), Ryan Murphy (suspended), Farmer is also injured and schammer who always plays well against Adelaide has been dropped

Even with the loss of Roo and Rutten, I expect a very committed crows and a good win

 I was confusing it with Daniher's last game

As for the Crows first game under Craigy I might have to stand corrected my recollection is it was a loss

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I checked and, yes, it was a win for Craigy 22.13 (145) to 10.13 (73) to upset second-placed Melbourne

Add Mark Harvey today now so it's even more

I'm not sure changing the coach would make much difference, the club culture appears to be one of playing the "stars" the punters will come to watch regardless of whether they are actually fit. That has been there since the beginning, which is why the confrontation under Blight had to come, and why Ben Hart was kept on a season too long.

Van Berlo was embarresing yesterday, at one stage he rec'd a handbal outside of the pack on his own and proceeded to handbal it back to a bloke in the pack witha Freo guy right next to him!!!....over ******* possesion style they play gives you the shits!!!

as For Shirley....why is he holding a young player out of that side????...does not hurt opposition one bit with his play, just clogs up a midfield position that could go to a yougster like DOuglas, Hinge, Mattner

We do not have a hope against Freo this week and will get flogged (sides who lose their coach always come out the next week and win) Even if we make the finals we are nowhere near a serious premiership contender. Power have more chance than we do at this stage.

Once again we have promised the world and underachieved.

Say goodbye to 2007 and look forward to 2008 boys...start by sacking Neil Craig.

Hate to say it but I told you so.

We were, once again, pathetic. Get rid of the coach FFS...Think I will now go to the Qantas website and book a holiday for the week following the showdown.

Rob Shirley would have to be one of most ordinary players in last 10 years to get a regular AFL game. He's not even a particularly good tagger.
Doughty isn't that far behind him. Although it will be rob Norwood of one of their best players, it's time to give someone like Bryce Campbell a go.

Van Berlo can be part of the trade to get Pavlich 8)

What has Griffen done wrong. Ok he needed a week off but putting him in the goal square and at least giving the midfielders some sort of target must be wotrh a try. Last week for Centrals he was quite impressive (against limited opposition) but still cant get in ahead of Perrie. I agree with other posters, this year is shot, bring in the kids.
