Pics are helpful because someone elses idea of a good meal is very different from mine.

Last night i saw someone post something on FB that had the caption "Really outdid myself #wifeme" and had a pic of some horseshit with a side of frozen veggies with really thin, runny looking gravy.

She obviously gives good and frequent gobbies going by that hashtag. Thats the only way Id wife that shit.

Absolutely NO issue with posting photos at all.
It's a review thread - feel free to upload images.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

The same that take selfies, and say 'amazeballs'?
Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.

"Totes amazeballs ", it's "mint" when my "Bae" is "on point". All of these shitty saying make me do a mini vom.

I tried to upload a photo and it always says too many pixels. What am I doing wrong?

Personally I don't care either way but I feel like the description is the key as I can see photos of food anywhere. I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually care more about the opinions of some people on this thread.

Nothing wrong with accompanying a well written review with an image or three at all.

@wristwatcher : Not sure, it's probably too big?

I've heard that before

Yeah it is but how to you reduce the size when it's a photo on your phone?

I'll just Google up random images to go with my reviews.

As long as we don't start reviewing the plating up of food, then we really have jumped the shark.

"The arrangement of the food on the plate lacked creativity"

Unless your complaining about the chips being under the schnitty, then go your hardest!

Went to an old favourite today that I used to go to with the old man once a month ; The Laksa House

Located in Chinatown, second shop on the right of the food court as you enter off the main drag. Mixed combo Laksa $10.30

An enormous taste sensation and always struggle to get through it. A spicy rich blend littered with prawns, chicken, tofu, shrimp, noodles, sprouts, cucumber, chilli and more. It's a genuine battle to get through. You leave very full and satisfied. You will "rush the bowl" later that day as the boys at the footy club experienced tonight.

I have taken 5 or 6 girlfriends their over the years as it's a barometer for what kind of nut case I was dating at the time. If you can't handle a man getting the food sweats with the heat of the chilli, a bit of splash factor and some yellow smudge on the face while he powers through using fork, spoon, chopsticks and the old bowl to mouth liquid indulgence then you're probably not worth the effort in my book :) . It's a food experience and if you can't handle the spice I don't want to know you either.

9/10. Highly recommend this little beauty. You will be eating 5 mins after ordering and it takes about 20 minutes to work through. Slight anal burn upon exit will occur in most cases.

Incredibly consistent for quality and portions. If anyone has any interest in the flavour of Laksa this is a must try.

the grills consisted of 2 sliders, chips, 2 tandoori chicken wings and slow cooked ribs

after entree it was a battle to finish.

left a few chips.

with the ent voucher + heineken and lemon lime bitters it was $48.

buy 1 main get 1 free.

american grill was $27

I give it a 8/10 for value

overall a solid 7.5

Popped my Laksa cherry many (many  ) years ago at the Asian Gourmet in Chinatown, still the best Ive ever tasted! Mate who introduced me to it is a pretty handy cook and begged them for their recipe for years but they'd never give it up, so he spent weeks tailing/stalking/spying on the owners whenever they'd head out to the Asian Grocery store. He got what he needed and made a pretty close imitation.
