North Pines probably won't get that second team up (only getting ten to training yet sitting top), so might only have 14 teams to work with.

There is a couple of teams in div 8 that should be in div 7, even if it is a c/d sides.

There is also a couple who would be better suited to Div 9.

I like playing in a 10 team comp and I like the whole div 8 = C and D grade but It does make Div 6 and 7 look pretty average.

Just my view but I would think ten team comps for as many of the upper divs as possible and maybe your right it means you can't have your C and D grade div which is a fantastic idea in theorey.

Well, I reckon if say North Pines and/or Salisbury West don't get up, you make D6 a ten team comp and just push 5 or 6 C/D grades into D7 again and we return to the glory days of 2014.

How about Morphettville Park...is there a spot in a higher grade for teams from other leagues to enter or do they have to start at the bottom?

But normally they'd start at the bottom and work up.

Trying to work this out but if they went direct to Div 4 as the second relegated from div 3 it's possible. But it doesn't sound like they have shown interest in returning unless it's all hush hush.
