It's a tough one - the things that work in our favour is that NH traditionally don't travel that well on HV oval - Salisbury is an unknown as most of them wouldn't have played on HV oval since juniors but may get a bit lost by the restricted space..
Here's hoping
Last time I played at HV was 2003 as an Under 17. Last time the clubs met at A Grade level was 2002.
I'll be at the game on Saturday. Missed the first one. Come say hello after the game and I'll buy you beer.
Water only for Pag, looks like he is having a few fluid retention issues at the moment. Although i am expecting a masterclass from the great man on Saturday seeing it is red heads round this week in the AFL.

Pretty sure it was 2005 was the last time for you anyway coz we were still under 17's then.

Actually '04 I reckon, don't think Valleys had a side in '05.
Forecast for plenty of rain on Saturday, can't wait.

1-4mm..... I think you'll survive
At HV? Thought it was a bog up there. Correct me if I'm wrong SD.
It has held up reasonably well this year. The centre square is mud, but that's standard. The rest of the oval is just starting to get worse. The down pour it got Saturday night just gone didn't help. Some junior teams have been training elsewhere this year which has helped though.
But you can expect Saturday to be a good old fashioned slog in the mud

especially when the curator/groundsman accidentally leaves the sprinklers on Friday night
I don't know about anyone else but I find it extremely odd that an umpire who has a son that plays at a club and then he gets to umpire that team on a Saturday also being a very bias umpire doesn't seem right to me !
