i use to visit a deli on grote street and they would cut the roll fully, but load so much filling in the roll it would fall apart when i tried to take a bite or i open the wrapping and it would fall over and the filling would go every where. Good for value for money but no point in having a sandwich or roll when it is over filled. Might as well just have it all on a plate or in a plastic container .
Told the lady this and she nearly fell over when i said dont fill it so much.

I once went to get a yiros and I asked the bloke to not put any lettuce in it. "That's half the bloody yiros gone" he said in his strong Greek accent, I appreciated his honesty.

I always say "just a LITTLE bit of lettuce, please" coz they always fill them up with that and not much else.
If they put too much in I tell them to take it out.

Yeah but a scorned woman will intentionally not cut all the way through. Maybe he has pissed her off in some way and thats her passive aggressive way of telling him.

mean while at subway there is a lettuce shortage... i always have to ask for more lettuce, three shreds of lettuce don't quite cut it....

I think you're on to something, today: Not cutting all the way through his roll. Tomorrow: Plotting to murder him.
