Wow - there are some nasty feelings developing between Brighton & Hackham.

No just when it was his turn to shout last night DTH left again.

2011 was that the year of the SHSC under 16 flag??

Have to say though DTH at least Brighton was prepared to defend their players and not self report and throw one under the bus like others last night.

I tried to buy you one Vic's but the girl behind the bar said their responsible service of alcohol policy didn't allow them to supply you with another drink.

Seems the saga may be over, the eerie silence out of Happy Valley may be a sign that the media black-ban has been reinstated down there. Sad, I was enjoying the input of Mister Footy & afc9798 etc over the last few years after what seemed like a non-existence of the HVFC on the internet.

No black ban mate just waiting for the new coach to be appointed. Reckon Maguire's phone would be running hot at the moment - has to coordinate timing of Carlton announcing Malthouse has quit/sacked before we announce he's our bloke.

In all seriousness just hoping they get it right this time

Anyway who needs mine and AFC's input when you have Vics and DTH have a crack at each other :D :D

Reckon I can safely say Ben Porter would not get the HV coaching job again so Woodville South have no worries there.

Adam Jeffries is coaching in the country

Bomber involved in the GSFL

JC is at Flaggies

My mail is Potts, Wallace or Chopper

Sporting Pulse a bit slow tonight, any results out there boys.
I saw the M/V Edwardstown game today, Emus won by 20 goals, Townies didn't score a goal until the third quarter.
Emus were in top form, particularly in the first half, very inaccurate in the last.

Weekend of blowouts it looks, from score through so far Reyenlla won by 97 points and had 5 other games with bigger blowouts!

Great day on the hill today supporting Kids Cancer, sadly we lost one of our subbies in March which has affected the whole community. The day raised a heap of $ and we remembered our little mate.

Thanks to the other clubs up there today in Brighton, Morphett Vale & OSB Lonsdale who all supported the day in wearing yellow armbands.

Morphettville park by about 18 goals today over Aldinga. Not a great game to watch but take the points still a few good players not playing. Panozzo with 10 goals. Some serious injuries to Aldinga today I think it was Carter broken leg/ankle didn't look good at all. Tyler Harman dislocated shoulder both taken away in a ambulance

I see again the SFL idea of mixing division 1 and 2 was a failure again on the weekend. 40 points being the closest result.. I imagine the board will again be like ostriches for the next couple of weeks then pop up again when we get back to div 1 sides playing div 1 and 2 playing 2 for close results. Lucky for the sponsors they broadcast the closest game of the round this week

STRAIGHT LINE

YES and for the blow out results in the all the other games. 2 games under 100 points ( 1 was 97 points) it went up from there
40
97
113
120
135
180
213

great look when one picks up the paper and reads the results. Any prospective player would have to say to himself WTF would I play in that for?? (Aside from $$$$) it is not a good look or comp.
It is very clear there is a massive gap between the top and bottom half.

Don't KNOW who you are SL this is not the first time you have slated the Hawks (having Turbo) as friend says a lot about you though).

The people at Hackham and several other clubs know where they are at and they are moving in every way to improve their club/s. If having half the comp. flog the other half week in week out as has been the case for years then so be it eventually clubs will fall over. At the present time Noarlunga and Reynella are power house clubs I am sure they would rather not have not games like this week at all. Just like Hackham and Lonsdale would rather not have these games.. If they play in a comp. appropriate to where they are at they get goo competition and the chance to build rather than lose players who get disheartened and just maybe the juniors will hang around as they see the seniors winning a few games which allows the club to grow.

So yes the SFL had the chance with the FDC to make change for the better as yet can't say there has been any..
