Not yet!! North have 4 players back in the league and G Thring will play ressies. There are many players playing sore! When you have 10 first choice players out, you are always going to struggle. North need to throw there game plan out the window and implement KISS! Wouldn't be surprised North win, and Shillabeer and Obst kick a few goals between them.... IMO Queens Birthday in D-Day for the Mop Head!

Serious Question:
Can McGregor last the season?
Record @ 2 Clubs now is pretty poor.

Don't know. I do know the board virtually set him the target of being top 3 at the end of the minor round or he was gone.
Feel a bit sorry for him with half the best team out injured but just a matter of time you'd think.
Whole football Dept needs a shake up after concentrating the off season on leadership programs with people like Jan Stirling, I'd sugfesrgetting some people in to work on football, fitness and physical resilience would be a better idea.

I know its easy to be critical in hindsight but...
I have to say I was very surprised North went with Kenny after his poor record @ Port.
Maybe they 'turned a blind eye' due to the financial issues the 'old' Magpies had?
I reckon he'll be gone before season's end - wasted season?

Time to promote some reserves players and see if they can cut the mustard at the top level.

Take one game at a time! North are pretty much where I expected after 5 games of footy. If they play quick direct footy which allows Shillabeer and Obst to kick a few goals if the forward can be opened up.

Even in a North thread you have a dig....you're a classic
North are depleted by injury, not many sides ( bar Norwood IMO ) would have the depth to cover the top line players they are missing. Also lost a pretty good one in the preseason to ammo's or where ever he is.

You truly are an Intellectual Minnow!
Nowhere have I had a dig.
I asked a legit question - Is Malthouse under pressure @ Carlton with their season record?
I suggest/question McGregor too is under pressure with North's current record.

Well, well, well. I've never been called an intellectual small fresh water fish before!
Minnow is a general term used to refer to small freshwater and saltwater fish, especially those used as bait fish or for fishing bait. More specifically, it refers to small freshwater fish of the family cyprinidae.
Who knows, if Malthouse coaches again or not, perhaps the next club might "turn a blind eye" to the financial issues Carlton are having.

Did you mention Malthouse's previous club had "money" issues and that Carlton may have "turned a blind eye" to it?
( PS Collingwood were broke when Malthouse took over )

Sorry, I'm lost. Is Booney the SS Minnow or is Kenny McGregor's coaching career at North?
