Crows vs Saints

Talk on the national game

St Kilda have to take some of the blame/credit for strangling the Crows after the 1s quarter. It takes 2 teams to tango, we seem to get focussed on one side and assume they chose to play good footy for a quarter and then go with another style, forgetting there's another side out there needing to get back into it. The Crows probably had some match-up advantages at the start which St Kilda obviously plugged and once they caught up it rarely got beyond 6 points the entire game. Rutten was a huge loss.

Disappointing to lose - St Kilda have claimed some big scalps in recent weeks (and so they should with the talent on the list) but that severely dents any slight top 4 hope we had remaining. :(
In between signatures .....

What's the point of doing all this 'work' if you are going to tip the Blackbirds anyway? My half assed effort got the same result but I leave this work stuff for when I'm actually getting paid LOL.

REB...I do it to profit from footy, which if you visit the G/Room you will see Im in front for the season $$$$$....I did tip the Crows, as I thought they could overcome this hurdle with their excellent record at the TD, but you live and learn and I was handed a lesson last night...

Why is it Tredrea is criticised ad nauseum about his poor form, and slow return to good form, yet Riccuitto flounders around the forward line, well off the pace of the game as Tredrea is at the moment, only getting the ball when well out in front on a lead?

Roo got some of the ball last night, playing as a forward but going onto the wing to get it.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

2 completely different situations Booney...
Tredrea is not fully fit and has really struggled to get his body right this year and has looked very heavy on occasions.
Roo has had no luck within games... Geelong he got a head knock and went off early in the 2nd quarter.. this week he rolled his ankle and had very little game time.. when he came back in the last quarter he was used as a lead up target.. But the delivery into the forward line didn't suit him (bombing it long to the hot spot) so he had no choice other then to lead up to get his possessions...
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

Lack of opportunity/injured during game/poor delivery, any way you look at it,he(Roo) is not performing.

Looks like Perrie will be back in - and we may need him in the back line!
