Brisbane should beat the Eagles, their midfield should trample ours and give the forward line enough ball that they HAVE to kick a winning score.

I reckon it will be an entertaining game that both sides will win and lose several times before the
night is out. I haven't seen Carlton play at the level St Kilda showed against Gold Coast yet this season so a win for the Sainters could be on the cards.

I'll be watching it at about 11am REB, but I do agree with you!

What's to say them 2 games won't be a fizzer tho?
Friday night footy will always be the way the AFL want it. Due to corporate agreements etc

my belief is that the top say 6 sides or so should get the bulk of the friday night games. and i would think a hawthorn port or even sydney freo would get higher ratings.

I get what your saying but scheduling would be a nightmare as well. Plus they need to seen to be being fair although Carlton having 7 Friday games just for sheer crowd numbers suck. Considering they will finish near bottom

North aren't a big drawing crowd and Freo up till this year play a shit brand of footy to watch. Maybe that's why.

They keep saying Richmonds leaders need to stand up, Who are there leaders? Yep Cotch is skipper but who is there 'Hodge/Selwood' like leader? Obviously they have no one on that level but who do they look towards for that inspired effort, Tackle run down what ever it may be? I just don't think they have one. Front runners

Just in case they didn't know over the last 20 years Richmond need to have a good look at them selves as a whole. It doesn't matter if they win tonight. For a proud club with a fantastic supporter base their overall performances, consistently are a disgrace. Having Reiwoldt addressing the team as the captain goes to toss the coin pretty much sums it up. To put it in to context Port were in a far worse position 4 years ago considering the entry of new teams to the comp, they turned it around in 18 months with **** all resources compared to Richmond. I feel for the Tigers supporters and you truly are the best fans in the comp.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
