How the hell then did she end up on the email list? Still get mine in the snail mail and makes good dinner table reading.
you only end up on a mailing list if you request e-comms as you're preferred method. you literally need to subscribe to it.
When I read it though, she reminded me of the Kingswood Country episode when Thelma went to Melbourne and packed the wireless so she could listen to Sydney radio stations
