you guys had 3 stand out guys in the midfield and were quick to try and fight smaller players Intimidation and thug tactics were used by your club you may have won but did not look pretty the way you went about doing it better umpires would have reported that player and probably sent of 2 others for stupid head high crap

you got one up on a side that was below par try the same crap against hope valley and see what happens

Salisbury had nothing to do with any incident that you saw? Elizabeth just wanted to punch on rather than play footy?

New coach....new game plan ????

it worked in patches but yeah elizabeth happy to play the man first scared the little salisbury players a bit so they looked better then what they are

Were you at the rite game RS? Other than the little scuffle the game was played in good spirits.... Elizabeth have a good mix of bulk and run, so yes they go hard win the ball then spread. clearly you are not a fan of Elizabeth?

Not all is lost for Salisbury if they can sort their new game plan out then who knows it might come together, good luck to them for the season.

So you still stand by your post that Salisbury lost a trial because they were scared?
I'm sure the Mags would love to hear that.

Trial Matches this upcoming weekend...?

We play Greenacres at Almond Tree Flat. Should be a good hit-out, especially to see what our new recruits are capable of and how they gel on the field.

I hear talk of game plans and full presses etc. I haven't been involved with a senior team for awhile but have watched a bit of Div 4 down, I would of thought you keep it pretty simple. Win the footy, use it well, play in front, tackle hard, pressure, beat your opponent etc etc

Nah, first step is to argue what division you are going to play in, then maybe look at actually playing a game.

Now although I wasn't there to see for myself I find it very hard to believe any side in footy would play a trial game and just go the body and play the man, Especially in the higher divisions. I have also known Payney personally for the best part of 20 years and there's no way he would send blokes out to go the biff especially in a trial game.

Westminster's success over the last few years would owe something to them having a very solid game plan
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

High class coaching on both grand final days in the last two years played a big part in both their victories. Obviously the players have to execute but they had a plan, stuck to it and it paid massive dividends.
