including a runner who ran 3rd in Jabiru last race from last thursday

been a fav in 7 of 11 races

has had 3 ambitious starts in town where started big odds and easily beaten, so minus those runs

a fav in 7 of 8 races

has won 3 and placed on 4 occasions

a 3 time beaten fav with A Coome

I had a look at the horses stats in more detail when you said we needed to follow a different horse.

its made some nice prizemoney for the owners - who are the family of the trainer but it hasn't been the punters best friend, however I have profited from this horse, so I will keep it in the blackbook. I know how to punt with this horse in a race

the 8 did a good thing getting beaten last start for my Quaddie, so today I hope it knocks off the fav

I am mates with the owners of Miss Gidget, she is still nominated for the blue diamond, stable has a MASSIVE opinion of her and a BIG WATCH on her lead ups is warranted, currently $101 in the BD, worth an E/W ticket and a must follow in the lead up races

Took 67 before the prelude, just had $10 free bet on it.

McEvoy stable very keen on Manhattan Blues in the BD, currently 50/1

we have a field of 11

9 are Craiglea horses

the 3 was in the same race last time and ran a cheeky race out in front at 20/1 to run 3rd, to put value in the tri, pity it didn't run second
the 4 was in the same race, but it doesn't look like it will figure here
the 11 - looks like it will push forward.

the early thoughts are the 11 will go forward to perhaps lead from the wide draw
the first starters are a mystery
the 3 should be up near the lead and hopefully will be around the 10/1
1 drawn in barrier four, will settle one off the fence between 5th - 8th spot
and it will get a run, it will run on into another placing and another race where its a beaten fav ridden by the Coome

I'm not a big Ray Fewings fan but he managed 6 winners and third from 8 races today! One was $1.70 but next best was $3.40, then the rest were 5 and 6 bucks onward. Fair effort.

I think we can work around 1,2,3,5 in exotics here and perhaps going 9,10 in the backend of tri and ffs for value

I would be tempted to have something a win on the Jabiru today, but will hit it more the place.

Interestingly the 2 is first up today, but when it won its only start, it was at Rocky and yep, you guessed it folks, it defeated the Jabiru!!!

it led all the way that day, and it shortened from 7/1 into 11/2 while the Jabiru was short at 7/4.

my earlier post suggested the 11 would roll forward, it was in fact meant to be the 10.

perhaps roving the 1 with 2,3,5,9,10 could be the way to go or

the last time the Jabiru was these odds, it won but ridden by a different jockey...
