Australia the bookies favourite. That worries me. I can see this game going to penaltys

Lazy arsed players waiting in the middle for a cheap kick rather than getting back and helping out in defense. Was screaming at them to park the ******* bus

Good win but not greatest by a fair bit.
Any win at a WC is far greater IMO

Completely disagree, winning a major trophy beats a group game... but if everyone thought the same the world would be a shockingly boring place... ;)

Can see your point but TBH the Asian conference is very weak and we should be winning it regularly. The WC is the pinnacle of Soccer in the World and its a journey just to qualify let alone win a game in it. Would gladly swap the Asian Cup to a win in the group stage at Russia but thats just me probably. I place the WC on a pedestal far ahead of anything else in World sport though lol

Still not convinced, will take more than an Asian cup to hide the Brazil disaster.
Need to start beating some decent sides and I still dont believe guys playing A-League should get a game. Need to start getting more guys overseas in good leagues, Schwartzer was spot on by saying too many guys are happy just plodding along in Australia

What is this disaster you speak of in Brazil?

The World Cup, we were a shambles at times. Even the lead up to the Asian Cup was fairly poor. No Asian country ranked inside top 50 currently, when we start beating sides inside the top 30 ill start believing
