I found the Scorchers squad:

Ashton Agar, Yasir Arafat, Jason Behrendorff, Michael Carberry, Hilton Cartwright, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Brad Hogg, Michael Klinger, Mitchell Marsh, Shaun Marsh, James Muirhead, Joel Paris, Ashton Turner, Andrew Tye, Adam Voges, Sam Whiteman

Not that flash.

The betting odds according to The Advertiser before the tournament started were:

Melbourne Stars $4
Brisbane Heat $6
Hobart Hurricanes $6
Melbourne Renegades $7
Perth Scorchers $8
Sydney Sixers $8
Sydney Thunder $9

Perhaps fitting they forgot to include the Strikers odds.

Strikers butchered that chase and got lucky in the end, why were they all trying to hit the ball over the fence in the last 4-5 overs when they just needed to knock the ball around?

A lot of hype about Flintoff, Kallis, Pietfigerson
Not much mentioned about Sammy who would just about be the best basher in the world

Hobart when he is playing is arguably the best side in the comp

Too late for me to post this, but Ive backed every winner this season

Hobart Hurricanes at $1-65 v Sydney Sixes is a gift Wednesday night

Didn't mind having a beer and watching the action at the pub tonight after work here in Perth, makes the trip home to SA tomorrow better with the win :) . One thing that sucks in Perth to satisfy the TV audience on the east coast the games here start at 4pm and its the same come footy season where they start at 5. They do well to get crowds.

A Pom allegedly sprung
A British citizen has been evicted from BB games games at the SCG and ANZ Stadiums this season

This Pom is in attendance at the BBL venues
Overseas TV is slightly behind the live action
There is enough time to place bets on his laptop , or relay information to others
There can be delays of up to approximately 12 seconds before overseas TV networks catch up to the live action
Bookies watching the action on TV , are Caught Out , and betting behind the times

My advice is for the Pom is to stop this practice and just follow Dutchys tips on the BBL[Gambling room thread Cricket 14-15]

I love your patriotism but I do think we look pretty fragile in comparison to other franchises, it is a funny game though where you just have to score more runs than the other team to win.

I agree with that. Hope I'm wrong but we simply don't have a strong enough batting line up to win the comp. I'm not trying to be funny here but the loss of Hughesy who would have potentially anchored many innings in BB4 this year will cost us a couple of games at some point. Definitely a batsman short.

With such a strong start we should be able to make the Semis and then anything can happen but I don't see us being the Champions even though Cossi did promise us some silverware this season ;)

Speaking of how come Cosgrove isn't playing for us (or any other BBL team) this season?

I can understand guys like Warner & Clarke not signing with teams but Cossie?

Too much running and the breakes are too brief to provide catering. That's my theory :D

A case of extremes for Mark
Excellent 50 over batsman
Not as good as a 20/20 player

Alex Ross is worth a gamble in 20/20 , is young , hits well

Just quietly or some of the other guys making up the numbers in squads.

It must be a personal decision not to play just assumed with the money on offer and closer to the end than the beginning he would put his hand up.

The commentary seems a little better this year. They don't just try and pay each other out as much and think it's funny.

Howie and the other ch10 guy are still pretty bad though.
