Of course he does and so do some of his mates.
I feel that he is very unlucky to be made the scape goat for the side when others do the same thing !!!

I do not disagree, yes most left footers don't have a right side, however, if you want to compare Marty to Goody than you need to consider
1. How often does Simon burn the footy, how often does Simon run himself in to trouble, how often does Simon make poor decisions.

Think it is very poor to drop him this week when he didnt have the chance to go back to the sanfl and get some form. From what i believe he was a emergancy and had to go and warm up and think he was playing in case some one didnt pull up.

The only possible opening this week is to replace Proplyzia, given he plays a small forward / midfield role, I would think Douglas would be the front runner, especially after his 7 goal effort in the previous round
My understanding is Douglas had 25+ touches today, so is form can't be too bad

I think that the Crows main concern would had been beating The hawks which they did. If he is costing a side why keep playing him?? I guarntee Sturts draw never came to consideration in their decision there are more important things to worry about then wheither Mattner will play in the SANFL that week then a bye.

And loyal to the SANFL, unlike the other team at one time.
