Might regret signing on with them now. Port pick up a couple of key position players and a young ruckmen.

Luke Thompson (formerly Adelaide Crows) and Fraser Thurlow (formerly Essendon rookie list) have officially signed with the Eagles.

Fraser Thurlow......good luck with that. Thompson is a good get though. No Petrenko yet?

No news on Petrenko yet despite him saying that he will return to the Eagles if not re-drafted (or at least that's what afl.com.au says).

I haven't heard anything about Thurlow or seen him play before but it sounds like a big ask if he is expected to be the number one ruckman as a 21 year old. Irrespective of his personal ability, ruckmen generally take a few years longer to develop than other players so I hope he isn't expected to be our answer to deficiencies in ruck.

Not so.......might want to revisit this, BP. I'm told he's out of there and headed to the leafy suburb of Unley.

SANFL rucks are pretty weak he won't have to be that good to dominate this comp

Thurlow will go alright in this competition and I think he is a good get, I called him in a SA U20 v NEAFL U23's game a couple of years ago and he dominated both in the ruck and around the ground. Great pair of hands...

Will there be any room left in the Eagles cap for Petrenko?

Thurlow seems like a decent kid but he didnt set the world on fire at VFL level infact I thought he was pretty average. Only young and still developing though so he might end up ok

While useful gets its a bizarre recruiting strategy. Its almost as if they are determined NOT to address the one area we have had an obvious deficiency in over the last 4 years - our midfield.

Was Thompson necessary given we already have Von Bertouch, Templeton, Giufredda and signed Raikiwasa. All key backs. With Thomopson there you wouldn't think they would all play back. So who is going to drop out?

I wouldn't be surprised if Petrenko is considering playing VFL after training with St Kilda and having a lot of his mates over there.

Don't shoot the messenger, mate. That was what Zac Milbank had written back then. Would have thought he'd have put pen to paper if the Football Manager has spoke about it to the Media...

Could Seb Guilhaus return to the SANFL next year, after not signing on for the NT Thunder in 2015

Just responded, as above, Bounce of the ball...

To be honest, I didn't even see Knowledge's post, until you pointed it out, along with the point I agree with regarding already signing...

The mystery of season 2015...

Where will Angus Bruggemann play?

No worries, Phil......shooting's not in my nature! But, I'll bet my left tes....cle that Angus won't be at Port Adelaide in 2015 and will be gracing the playing field at Oxford Terrace. Just another example of business the PAFC way, I guess. No doubt, someone certainly 'jumped the gun' at Queen Street, though.
