F**k yeah, Faulkner finishes it for us yet again, great to win the series 4-1, looked to be in a bit of strife there but luckily we were able to get over the line.

Spot on. **** him off, and **** him off quickly.

just use your ******* head maxwell. looks like he second guesses himself every time he bats now. he has enough talent but obviously believes his own hype.

i doubt it would be too hard to use technology for the no ball and instantly let the umpire know

I disagree strongly with this. Firstly where do his 8 overs tonight come from? Smith isn't going to go at 5 every time and Watson seems to be losing his effectiveness at least in one day games. Could bring in Marsh as an allrounder but then we're down to just Smith as a spin option unless you want Clarke to bowl which means another bowler.

Batting wise, I just don't think this series has been right for him. You pick guys to work in different situations and to me Maxwell is a guy who can push you up 20 or 30 runs compared to other guys. We have the guys equipped for 4 runs an over but not many for 10+ runs per over and Maxwell is one. IMHO balance and flexibility in short for cricket is important and I just think taking out a guy who gives us something different to bring in someone more like the other guys won't help that often.

Been saying this for years. I was watching and seemed Abbott and Morkel bowled a lot more no balls that weren't called. Should be dead simple to have sensors and let off a beep in the umpire's ear well before the ball gets to the batsmen. Ump can call and signal just as fast as they would otherwise with the added benefit of one less thing to think about and one less thing to watch for. Must surely help with LBW and caught behinds not having to look down then up and follow the ball.

a ball bowled at 140 km/h takes about a half a second to reach the batsman, yep, plenty of time ...

Consistency
You have had a go at Maxwell and Wade
Fair enough
Both played terrible shots

But why have you only picked on these 2 batsman ?

Warner , Finch, Watson ,Smith and Bailey also played similar shots and got out
Faulkner also played across the line for a slog sweep to win the game
If he holed out , he was another playing the BIG shot

The way I saw it Jimbo, the top 7 batters played BIG shots and got out
Some middled them better than others , but they all got out
You only picked on 2, and Im not surprised which 2 either

Because most of those batters got us to the position where it should of been a canter.
Maxwell and Wade only needed to go at 2 an over and couldnt help themselves
