Re: Barossa & Light Cricket 2014/15.
If I had to choose a club scud, South would be my pick. Don't really have to many connections other than a few oldies from past years. I have an opinion that's all. I like to follow the cricket and footy in the barossa. May have umpired a few games also. Enough of me. Play on.

Thanks for that mate, now I can sleep better at night, you wouldn't happens to be coaching or over seeing the boys this year?? I heard a current umpire isn't umpiring anymore as he has taken a role up with south... Wouldn't be you would it slogan I mean slowey??

Congratulations and Goodluck to Doof , taking over at the helm of GC... Hopefully not feeling too much pressure to bowl young knighty too much.

Anything to be read onto Kingy's first game of the season coinciding with Frackowski leaving?

Heard correctly Red Rocket, currently 8/93 before the heavens opened. Doecks and Jungy did a power work both bowling 20 straight each. Hopefully set a total for the Nuri boys to chase next week

Mustn't have got much rain? Pitches at both centrals and Freeling were underwater

I think we had about 15-20mm in Ango this morning, pitches were underwater but with a bit of sweeping, hanging the mats over the rail and sunshine games got underway 10 minutes late.
I think some clubs can be a bit quick to call off hard wicket games sometimes.

It's a bit harder with stick down nets and sand runups like Gawler centrals have
